Sheets for hardening

Hardening sheet  is a special type of steel sheet that has been designed for the hardening process, i.e. subjecting the metal to intensive heating and rapid cooling to increase its strength, hardness and durability. This process leads to a change in the crystal structure of the steel, which translates into significant improvements in its mechanical properties.

Hardening sheets are characterized by high hardness, which is achieved through special thermal processes. Hardened sheets are extremely resistant to  wear  , which makes them ideal for applications requiring a high degree of abrasion resistance, e.g. in the production of tools, knives or machine parts. The hardening process makes the sheet more durable and resistant to mechanical loads, which is crucial in the case of structural elements and tools. Hardening sheets are precisely made, ensuring the accuracy of dimensions and shapes, which is important in the production of elements with complex shapes.

Application of sheets for hardening

Hardened sheets are widely used in the production of tools such as knives, drills, dies, milling cutters or hammers, where exceptional hardness and durability are required. They are also used in the production of engine parts, gears, shafts or bearings, where strength and resistance to wear are key. They are also used in the production of structural elements such as screws, nuts or other fasteners requiring high resistance to mechanical loads.
