Carbon wires

Types of carbon steel wires

WDepending on the chemical composition, state of hardening and corrosion resistance, we distinguish the following types of wires:

  • low carbon steel wires,
  • high carbon steel wires,
  • stainless steel wires,
  • resistance and heat-resistant wires,
  • welding wires.

Low carbon steel wires have a low carbon content, making them soft and easy to work with. They are often used in the construction and manufacturing industries where there is a need for flexible and easily formed materials.

High-carbon steel wires contain significantly more carbon than their low-carbon counterparts. They are more resistant to wear, making them ideal for applications that require greater strength, such as springs and bearings.

Stainless steel wires are the third type of wire we offer. They are corrosion resistant, making them an ideal choice for humid or chemically aggressive environments.

Resistance and heat-resistant wires are electrical conductors that are resistant to high temperatures. They are used in the electronics and energy industries.
