Carbon steel strips

Carbon strips  are made from carbon fibers, which are very light, but at the same time extremely strong and stiff. They are composite materials that consist of carbon fibers bonded with resins or other binding substances. Carbon tapes are available in various types and have a wide range of applications in various fields of industry and technology.

Our offer includes a wide range of cold-rolled carbon steel strips . Hardened strips are suitable as machine elements, subjected to various work cycles. In addition, they are used to produce spring washers and springs. After hardening, the steel obtains increased resistance to abrasion, which is why our hardened steel is suitable as a feedstock material used in the production of toothed knives and industrial blades.

Types of carbon tapes:

• unidirectional strips – carbon fibers are oriented in one direction, which makes these strips very stiff along one axis;
• bidirectional strips – carbon fibers are oriented both along and across the tape, ensuring even distribution of forces;
• hybrid strips – combine carbon fibers with other materials, such as aramid, glass fibers or polymer fibers.

Application of carbon steel strips

Carbon strips are used to make lightweight and strong structures for airplanes, rockets, drones and other aircraft. They are used in the production of automotive parts, such as body panels, vehicle interiors and engine parts, to increase strength and reduce vehicle weight. Cold rolled carbon steel strips are available in coil form and also as formats of any length. On request, we can prepare steel strips with rounded side edges. We also recommend our low carbon and high carbon steel strips.
