Steel foils
An important part of our assortment offer are steel foils . Made of a thin layer of steel, they are light and at the same time extremely durable. Steel foils are made of carbon or alloy steel, which is characterized by high mechanical strength and hardness. Thanks to these properties, these foils are used in various industries as a construction and finishing material.
In the automotive industry, steel foils are used to produce car body parts and mechanical components, such as springs or suspensions. In the construction industry, however, these foils are used as a finishing material, e.g. for the production of trapezoidal sheets or wall panels.
Ideal for industrial applications, they offer excellent protection against corrosion and mechanical damage. Their flexibility makes them easy to process, allowing them to be created into a variety of shapes. Their versatility means they are used in the production of food packaging, structural elements and even in the automotive industry. Steel foils are not only durable, but also environmentally friendly, making them an ecologically sustainable choice.
Calibration foils
Calibration foils are used in measurement processes and quality control. They are used to check the accuracy of dimensions and geometry of structural elements, as well as to calibrate measuring devices. They are made of materials with high dimensional stability and resistance to mechanical damage and abrasion. Thanks to this, they guarantee the reliability of measurements and long-term preservation of functional properties.
One of the main applications of calibration films is quality control in the automotive industry, where they are used to check the dimensions of engine components or brake systems. In addition, these films are used in the electronics industry to calibrate measuring devices such as oscilloscopes or electrical meters.
We provide foils of various types and kinds. These include calibration foils – spring and in sheets, and calibration foils in the form of strips.
HAX-INOX calibration foils are produced in German metallurgical plants, maintaining all tolerances and dimensional standards.
Calibration foils are used in places such as:
- laboratories,
- production lines,
- construction work,
- field work,
- to create thickness patterns.
Depending on the application, we offer calibration foils made of stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, tool steel and spring calibration foils.
Precision foils
Precision foils are materials with very high dimensional accuracy and structural uniformity. They are mainly used in the electronics and optoelectronics industry, where precise control of the thickness and dielectric properties of materials is required.
One of the most important applications of precision films is the production of integrated circuit elements and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS). Thanks to their properties, these films enable the production of thin-film structures with precisely controlled thickness, which is crucial for maintaining the functional properties of these elements.
Precision foils are exceptionally thin and lightweight products that guarantee unparalleled precision. They are resistant to moisture and UV radiation. They are used in electronics, medicine and the production of microelements, providing excellent quality in detail. Their ability to maintain precise dimensions makes them irreplaceable in the production of advanced electronic and optical devices, constituting the foundation for modern technologies.
Our precision tapes are used in many industries – as shims and for setting production machines. They also enable precise thickness measurements on substrates.
Stainless steel foils
Stainless steel foils are made of stainless steel, which is highly resistant to corrosion and chemical agents. This makes the material ideal for use in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, where materials with high durability and resistance to aggressive environments are required.
The properties of stainless steel foils mean that they are used, among others, for the production of structural elements of machines and devices, covers or tanks for chemical substances.
Our foil offer
The HAX-INOX stainless steel foil range includes precision stainless steel and spring strips of various types.
To simplify your selection of the right stainless spring foil, we have developed a list of available dimensions along with information on the Rm [MPa] parameters. Determining the tensile strength - Rm [MPa] of individual stainless foils helps to determine the optimal hardness of stainless steel.
To compare the hardness of steel with the Rm parameter, we recommend using our table regarding the hardness of stainless steel strips.
We also encourage you to check out our offer of calibration foils in sheets.

Stainless steel spring foils - 1.4310 steel
Our offer includes stainless spring foils made of 1.4310 steel. This is an austenitic steel, i.e. acid-resistant with very high mechanical strength and very good corrosion resistance. Foils made of this material are resistant to:
- nitric acid,
- preservatives,
- various salts.
They are used in equipment for the food and chemical industries, including acid tanks, pumps, mixers, heat exchangers and other equipment. They are also used in the automotive and aviation industries.
We provide foils of various types and kinds. These include calibration foils – spring and in sheets, and calibration foils in the form of strips.
HAX-INOX calibration foils are produced in German metallurgical plants, maintaining all tolerances and dimensional standards.
