Steel DC04
DC04 steel has a low carbon content, typically less than 0.08%, which makes the steel soft and easy to form. It is excellent for cold working, including cutting, bending and forming. Due to its properties, it is often used in the construction, automotive and electronics industries and other industries where the production of precision parts with complex shapes is important.
Like other stainless steels, DC04 steel has some corrosion resistance, although this is not its main feature. Compared to other types of steel, the tensile strength of DC04 steel is relatively low, but this makes it easier to cold form.
Application of DC04 steel
DC04 steel is used in various industries, including:
- automotive industry – it is used to produce body parts such as door panels, hoods, and interior car parts;
- construction industry – DC04 steel is used for the production of structural elements such as roofing and wall sheets, as well as steel pipes and profiles;
- electronics industry – is used in the production of electronic housings, sockets, frames and other precision components.
